Here is my scandalous little tidbit: as a writer I have gone through almost two decades expounding on young ladies, pondering young ladies, discussing how young ladies ought to be raised. However, when I at last got pregnant myself, I was frightened at the possibility of having a little girl. I should be a specialist on young ladies' conduct. Consider the possibility that, after all that, I was not capable myself.  At that point I saw the indisputable verification on the sonogram (or what they said was undeniable confirmation; to me, it looked undefined from, state, a nose) and I all of a sudden acknowledged I had needed a young lady – frantically, energetically – from the start. I had recently been hesitant to let it be known. In any case, despite everything I worried over how I would raise her, what sort of good example I would be, regardless of whether I would accept my own pompously composed exhortation on the complexities encompassing young ladies' excellence, s
